A refrigeration cycle device is configured such that during defrosting operation discharged refrigerant from a compressor (6) is guided to an external heat exchanger (14) and refrigerant which has been guided to a thermal storage heat exchanger (34) via an interior heat exchanger (16) and then has passed through the external heat exchanger (14) and refrigerant which has undergone heat exchange with a heat storage material (36) in the thermal storage heat exchanger (34) merge and are guided to the intake side of the compressor (6). The refrigeration cycle device is also configured such that an external air blasting fan (48) is made to rotate when the external side air temperature detected by an external temperature sensor (44) is at least a prescribed value.
