HEAT STORAGE MATERIAL

PURPOSE: To obtain a heat storage material improved in esp. workability in its sealing into containers and preservability and to be used in floor space heating by incorporating an aqueous solution of sodium acetate as the chief component with a specified amount of gelatin. CONSTITUTION: The objective heat storage material can be obtained by incorporating (A) an aqueous solution containing 50-60wt.% of sodium acetate as the chief component with (B) 0.5-5 (pref. 1-3) wt.% of gelatin for preventing separation and solidification of the component A. Other components in the component A are e.g., sodium chloride, sodium bromide, sodium formate, lithium acetate, potassium acetate, ammonium acetate.COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
