PURPOSE: To provide a latent heat storage material which does not cause a supercooling phenomenon and allows the recovery and the dissipation of latent heat to be carried out by change in phase, consisting of a hydrated salt and an anhydrous salt in a specified composition. CONSTITUTION: A hydrated salt (e.g. sodium acetate trihydrate) and an anhydrous salt (e.g. anhydrous sodium acetate) are mixed so that the crystals of the anhydrous salt exist in the soln. at an attainable max. temp. during thermal energy storage.COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
