ANODIC CONDUCTOR FOR HORIZONTAL TYPE CONTINUOUS ELECTROGALVANIZATION OF STEEL STRIP

PURPOSE: To raise the corrosion resistance of the anodic conductor for electrogalvanization by using a Pb-Sn alloy containing a specific amount of Sn. CONSTITUTION: As the anodic conductor to be used in the horizontal type continuous electrogalvanization for steel strip, a Pb-Sn alloy containing 3W15wt% Sn is used. Thus, little spark occurs at the contact between a zinc anode and the anodic conductor, and also the anodic conductor having excellent resistance to corrosion due to plating liquid and electrolytic corrosion can be obtained.COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
