The present invention discloses a method for estimating and inverting precipitation in plateau areas by using satellite cloud images, which includes a data storage module, an environment monitoring module, a data processing module, a data comprehensive processing module and a data forecasting module. The present invention collects and stores satellite cloud image data and rainfall data through the data storage module and sends the data to the environment monitoring module. The monitored environment data such as climatic background is collected by the environment monitoring module. The data processing module analyzes and counts the satellite cloud image data, rainfall data and environment data and sends the data to the data comprehensive processing module. The data comprehensive processing module comprehensively compares the historical satellite cloud image data, the rainfall data and the environment data with the ongoing satellite cloud image data and environment data and sends the data to the data forecasting module. The data forecasting module predicts and broadcasts the rainfall situation. Moreover, the satellite cloud images can be estimated by an inverting method according to the precipitation.
