The present invention relates to a system and method for maximizing the utilization of available energy and simultaneously maintaining the sustainability of micro grid without sacrificing the comfort levels of users, which comprises a central information and control system connected to renewable energy sources, non renewable energy sources, a means for receiving forecasted weather data, forecasted load data and customer comforts and needs, a energy storage system, a energy storage management system, a grid power synchronous module comprising a non synchronous machine with power electronics interface, wherein said non-synchronous machine shaft is connected to shaft of non renewably energy sources preferably an IC engine and a power inverter connected at output end of energy storage devices. This proposed architecture is committed to serve the contract demand of customers, and also capable to serve additional load as and when required. The control system also comprises logic to facilitate the use of energy from particular sources in particular time to make sure that the continuous power available to the customers and also delivered energy is cheap as compared to the other available options. The control system is also designed to mitigate different intermittencies caused due to renewable energy sources and also due to system disturbances. Fig2
