<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent traffic congestion due to concentration of vehicles on a specific recommended route by preliminarily adjusting the ratio of presenting the recommended route to the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The traffic information providing device is configured to present a recommended route from among a plurality of alternative routes 10 and 12 to a vehicle 5.
