摘要:
The medium is intended for use at operating temps. of 5-35 degrees C, and consists of a mixt. which can absorb heat when melting. The mixt. contains Glauber salt; water; binder (I) and MgCl2 and/or an Mg cpd. and a Cl-cpd. forming ion corresp. with MgCl2 in the melt. The mixt. pref. also contains by wt. 0.5-5% cooking salt, NaCl. The pref. mixt. contains 1-15, esp. 6% MgCl2; and binder (I) is 10-50, esp. 20-30% cement, or 10-15% MgO. An esp. pref. binder (I) is 15% cement plus 10% MgO; and another material may be added to assist setting of the binder, esp. diatomite and/or asbestos, and/or perlite. The mixt. may be formed into spheroids and coated with bitumen. The medium is inexpensive to produce and is easy to use, e.g. in the building of houses.
