PURPOSE: To provide a heat storage material which consists of sodium sulfate decahydrate sodium carbonate decahydrate and urea, has a melting point lower than 25°C and is suitable for heating a passive solar house, etc. CONSTITUTION: The heat storage material is prepared by blending a mixture of sodium sulfate decahydrate and sodium carbonate decahydrate in a molar ratio of 5:4W2:7, with urea in a molar ratio of 0.95:0.05W0.85:0.15.
