LATENT HEAT STORAGE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve heat exchanging efficiency in heating a heat storage material and in taking out the stored heat by providing a heat exchanger placed in a heat storage material with plate fins elected with an interval parallelly in the horizontal direction, pipes which penetrate through the fins and is for passing the heating medium for heating a lower heat storage material and pipes for passing the heating medium for absorbing the upper storage heat. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 3 which is installed in the latent heat storage material 2 of a heat storage tank 1 is provided with parallel aluminium fins 4, a heating medium communication pipe 5 which pierces through those fins 4 and is for heating the lower section copper heat storage material and a heating medium communication pipe 6 for absorbing the upper section copper heat storage. With this constitution, the area of heat transfer area surface between the heat storage material heating medium and the heat storage material 2, and the area of the heat transfer area surface between the water and the heat storage material 2 become larger, and the efficiency in heat exchanging in the heat storage material heating and in storage heat extraction is enhanced.
